چکیده

Abstract Transcription factors play important roles in plant abiotic stresses. However, there are a large number of TF functions rice salt response need to be characterized. Our study identified new transcription factor, BEAR1, acts as regulator response. We used artificial microRNA generate BEAR1 knockdown transgenic rice, and CRISPR gene editing mutant lines. Both lines showed sensitive phenotypes, compared NIP. Transient expression protoplast was confirm the subcellular localization BEAR1. The activity detected by yeast system. induced stress dominantly expressed root at seedling stage spikelet mature stage. regulating controlling levels many salt-related genes, including marker genes ion transporter genes. revealed that

Response of Two Indica Rice Varieties to Salt Stress

Salinity is one of the most challenging problems that adversely affects growth and development of plants. Therefore, understanding of the mechanisms that enable plants to adapt to salinity stress will ultimately help in the selection of stress tolerant cultivars for exploiting saline soils. The main objective of this study was to examine the effects of NaCl on some physiological and biochemic...

Response of Iranian Rice Recombinant Inbred Lines (Oryza sativa L.) to Salt Stress in Seedling Stage

Study of the morphological genetic diversity of 114 lines, which have been derived from the crosses between Tarom Mahalli and Khazar cultivars, has been performed at seedling stage as completely randomized design at the normal condition and salinity stress of 8 dS.m-1 in a hydroponic system. Significant differences were detected between genotypes for all traits. Mean of comparison demonstrated ...

Expression pattern analysis of transcription factors from Aeluropus littoralis in response to salt stress and recovery condition.

Salinity is one of the most important abiotic stresses that decrease crop production. Transcription factors (TFs) are prominent regulators in plant responses to abiotic stress. In the present study, the expression pattern of four salt-induced genes encoding transcription factors, namely, MYB, RF2, GTF, and ARID was studied in response to salt stress (sodium chloride) and recovery conditions. Th...

Genome Wide Identification and Characterization of Apple bHLH Transcription Factors and Expression Analysis in Response to Drought and Salt Stress

The bHLH (basic helix-loop-helix) transcription factor family is the second largest in plants. It occurs in all three eukaryotic kingdoms, and plays important roles in regulating growth and development. However, family members have not previously been studied in apple. Here, we identified 188 MdbHLH proteins in apple "Golden Delicious" (Malus × domestica Borkh.), which could be classified into ...

Role of fission yeast Tup1-like repressors and Prr1 transcription factor in response to salt stress.

In Schizosaccharomyces pombe, the Sty1 mitogen-activated protein kinase and the Atf1 transcription factor control transcriptional induction in response to elevated salt concentrations. Herein, we demonstrate that two repressors, Tup11 and Tup12, and the Prr1 transcription factor also function in the response to salt shock. We find that deletion of both tup genes together results in hypersensiti...
